Join Dr Andy King for a fascinating and illuminating walk along the Jurassic shore of Helwell Bay, Watchet. Travel back in time and explore this wonderful beach and find out about the marine creatures that lived in the early Jurassic seas that covered Watchet 200 million years ago. This is a great opportunity to look for lots of different fossil ammonites, crinoids, and clams, including the ‘Devil’s Toenail’ – and maybe even fossil fish and ichthyosaurs. All with the help of the trained eye of an expert Geologist!
