Our team brings together a wide range of experience and specialisms to provide a comprehensive range of services. The team is dynamic and is selected specifically for each project to ensure a bespoke innovative solution to each challenge. We work with in-house staff and specialist sub-contractors to provide expertise that covers all areas aspects of ecological, geological and heritage consultancy.

All our ecologists are members of, or applicants to, the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management and work to the Institute’s Code of Professional Conduct, British Standard BS42020 and best practice guidelines.

We are based in Watchet, Somerset, South-West England, offering a balance of professional challenge and quality of life. Because we are a small, high quality team, we can be flexible.

 

We are interested in applications from adaptable and experienced professionals who are ambitious to be part of building an exemplary team and organisation. We deliver a diverse suite of projects, including ecological impact assessments and advice and surveys to support landscape-scale nature recovery, complex and niche geological surveys including advice on heritage building stones, and soil science consultancy including soil analysis to inform BNG.

Essential Requirements:

  • You must be legally able to work in the UK as of today without any extra paperwork required.
  • You must have 2+ years post-grad or equivalent science-based practical experience working as a professional ecologist within the UK or EU.

Roles Available:

  • Ecologist (Salary Scale: £27,000 – £35,000 depending on experience / skills)
  • We are also interested in speculative applications from Ecologists of all grades, geologists and soil scientists to join our growing team.
